Frozen shoulder is basically a soft-tissue issue(muscle/connective tissue) bordering on hard tissue(bone): The adhesive capsulitis WITHIN THE SHOULDER JOINT is restricting motion and typically causing pain. Connective tissue lines up along lines of stress, and over time, is impregnated with calcium, resulting in adhesive capsulitis (adhesions within the capsule). So the treatment involves simply breaking those adhesions. Surrounding tissues are restored to normalcy.

I believe in JOINT MOBILIZATION
I believe in massage as one of the most effective supports for health of the body. Massage is a gift for both the giver and receiver. My specialty is joint (shoulders/elbows/wrists, hip/knee/ankle) mobilization.
Many therapists will massage a body lying stationary on the table. One can get the bulk of the muscles relaxed in this way, perhaps 40-60% of the potential relaxation of the body. But muscles were made to move us at joints, and they do this through tendons which cross the joints. By moving the body at joints I believe I can come closer to perhaps 90% of the potential relaxation of the body.

WHY I SHOULD GET A MASSAGE
Most people think getting a massage is pampering, because it makes you feel so good. But the REASON it makes you feel so good is YOU ARE GETTING A BETTER-FUNCTIONING BODY.
